Implementing nested tags

I wonder if Boost Note could handle subtasks nested tags?

Eg. #foo/bar

foo
   bar

I'd rather limiting my folder structure with too many subfolders and using subtasks instead.

not sure I quite understand what you mean, can you point me to some real-world examples of how this looks and what is the difference?

I know of the Jira issue and then the subtasks feature, is this similar to what you are proposing?

And you rightly so. I had to be tired yesterday. I meant nested tags (sub tags)

From the Obsidian manual:

Nested tags

If you write your tags like #inbox/to-read and #inbox/processing, you can enable "show nested tags" to view them as a tree instead of a flat list.

Under the default flat view, the tag pane will look like:

- inbox/to-read
- inbox/processing

Under the nested tag view, the tag pane will look like:

- inbox
	- to-read
	- processing
