Selectively expose schema types via Spring properties / profile / feature flags

Is there a way to only expose certain parts of the schema based on some condition like a Spring property, Spring profile, or any other technique for feature flags?

For instance if we wanted some part of the schema available in the dev environment but not yet in prod environment.

Any ideas for achieving this?
