CORS issue prevents website from loading correctly

When accessing the website, the view stays like this forever:

This is with Firefox v137.0 (64-Bit, MSIX package) on a very fresh Windows 11 (got the laptop a few days ago). If I install the "CORS Everywhere" addon and switch it on, it works fine again. Also uploading of the screenshot to this editor didn't work until I switched on the addon.

Yes, I did try restarting the browser, and yes, I did try deactivating that addon to rule out interference, but no, neither of those fixed it.

This bug showed up today; everything worked fine until a few hours ago.
