Hi everyone,

Even if I'm sharing location image capture is not working. I tried from my mobile phone it works but image looks terrible. I can't upload from my gallery either nor a pdf document. How do I verify my student account?

Been there, it can be a bit annoying at first.

From your screenshot, it looks like your academic email is already verified (green box), so that part’s good. Now for the upload issue — GitHub’s site can be picky sometimes, especially with mobile.

Here’s what I’d recommend:

Use a laptop/desktop if possible – the image upload works way more reliably there. Mobile uploads (especially from gallery or camera) often fail or compress badly.

PDF upload tip – if you’ve got a student ID or transcript, convert it into a clear PDF. If you're using your phone, Adobe Scan or CamScanner works well, or just take a photo and use an online converter.

Try incognito mode or disable extensions (especially dark mode or privacy blockers) — seen those mess with GitHub before.
