I am missing the context here why this is needed and how I can test this. So closing this as it seems to be stalled. |

@edolstra seemed to think that the oldest might actually be the preferred behavior. If this is the case, we can just close this. The behaviour of this script isn't an issue for me, it was Just something I noticed and figured was probably wrong while working on my own script (where I wanted the latest). |

Did the trick in the script I created based on mirror-nixos-branch.pl.
Haven't actually tested in this one, but seems pretty trivial.
