Is there a way to --stage1 without fix_absolute_import?

I find that libfuturize.fixes.fix_absolute_import often breaks existing pytests on Python 2. I would like to be able to do the following but it does not work the way that I expect it to.

• futurize --stage1 -x libfuturize.fixes.fix_absolute_import -w .

@cclauss Can you be explicit about the breakage? I'd prefer the tool be fixed, rather than this step be skipped.
