In order to run the docker container i needed to add connection_pool to the gemfile and change the permission of the folder to allow the container to edit and create files

Thanks for the pull request - can you provide some additional documentation to support these changes? Also, if this only impacts the Docker container, could this be done within the Docker context as opposed to something that impacts versions of the template that run outside of Docker?

I now moved all changes into the docker related files.
Additionally I created a DevContainer that allows you to make changes while the website is hosted in background. This should also close this issue: #2443
