firefox 33.00 gives me this error whereas it works perfectly in chrome

i have 8 resolves in this particular route , if i remove all of then i don't get the above error

@programming-kid we've got no idea either and I doubt anyone can help without more details. For a start we don't know what is the AngularJS version used so matching stack-trace lines to the actual code is impossible. There is also no info on the exact FFox version used, if the problem happens in a different browser etc.

Please provide a minimal, live reproduce scenario using http://plnkr.co/ or similar. Without it we can't help, really.

I am getting this error on
FFox 33 in ubuntu 14.04
and i am using
AngularJS v1.3.0 ,
no this error dosen't happen in chrome .

@programming-kid so, it seems like 1.3.0 the line that breaks corresponds to this part of AngularJS code:
https://github.com/angular/angular.js/blob/v1.3.0/src/ng/httpBackend.js#L51 which is basically opening a xhr request. So what is happening here is that you are getting an exception from the FFox's XHR implementation. As such I don't think we will be able to do anything about it. I can see several issues on ffox bugzilla that looks similar, ex.: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=786601

What you can do is to put a breakpoint in https://github.com/angular/angular.js/blob/v1.3.0/src/ng/httpBackend.js#L51 and see what is the method / URL passed to the xhr.open - maybe there is a pb with a HTTP method name or some fishy characters in the URL?

Also make sure that you test in the incognito mode with all the extensions disabled - your pb might be caused by an extension.

Going to go ahead and close this one as the exception is thrown from FFox code. Still happy to look into it in more details if you've got a reproduce scenario that points to a problem in AngularJS.

hi guys, maybe this will be a hint to solve it :) I've got a similar error when doing requests on my developers environment to an external server. When I switched to a local server the error disappeared. So maybe it's a problem that firefox isn't allowing cross domain requests in some cases.

I ran into the same problem. Disabling adblock in firefox solved it. I used the path /api/ads/mostrecentads. Some time ago I was confused because the browser didn't load advertise.html. Now It's clear. Watch out for keywords that adblock blocks.

I ran into the same issue, After changing the name of input field from adx to adxn it started working.

Since it is ad-blocker issue, its better to change the name of the field in my case.
