Description

Bug, feature request, or proposal:

Bug: When an input element is embedded within an md-radio-group (such as for a text input that collects a required description of an "Other" option in a radio button list), the attribute binding of [disabled] does not work, In addition, the application of disabled (without the bracketing) also does not work.

What is the expected behavior?

[disabled] binding works correctly by toggling the editing state of the input element.

What is the current behavior?

[disabled] binding is not working at all.

What are the steps to reproduce?

Embed an mdInput text input inside of an md-radio-group element, whether inside or outside of an md-radio-button element.

What is the use-case or motivation for changing an existing behavior?

Enable the use of the [disabled] binding. In this particular use case, the user must choose among 4-5 mutually exclusive options, some of which may require the input of a piece of text information that is required if that associated option is selected. If another option is selected, the text box should be disabled so that users do not fill in the information.

Which versions of Angular, Material, OS, browsers are affected?

Angular: 2.4.9
Material: 2.0.0-beta.2
OS: Windows 10
Browsers: Chrome/IE11/Edge

Is there anything else we should know?
