Progress bar: Incorrect behavior switching between determinate and indeterminate

Switching from indeterminate to determinate state on the progress spinner sometimes breaks.

What is the expected behavior?

Spinner's view should be consistent.

What is the current behavior?

Sometimes the spinner ends up looking like this:

What are the steps to reproduce?

Go to the spinner example on the docs site. Toggle between determinate and indetermine states. Sometimes the spinner ends up in a strange state.
