select: first option not selected on open with VoiceOver on iOS

Actual Behavior:

• What is the issue? * On IOS devices, the first option of the md-select element is not selected automatically after it is opened only when using VoiceOver. The focus management works properly if VoiceOver is not used.
• What is the expected behaviour? Focus the first item after Md-select opens just like the Md-menu component. Focus management works perfectly in Md-menu even with VoiceOver on IOS devices.
