script for using NameNode HA in hdfs-namenode-k8s/templates/namenode-statefulset.yaml

in this yaml file , i see in second container we are using -bootStrapstandby option used with hdfs.
is this correct when you are using HA by default, because from apache documentation i see that -bootStrapstandby option should be used when are adding namenode (i.e converting non HA to HA ) , so am i wrong here ?
