Description
I am hoping I have read and understood the guidelines and this is the right place. When installing new Boards most have lots of options. For example I have a Sparkfun Nano so installed the SparkFun boards lib. However it also lists all the other boards they do, which clutters up the list making it really long (when added to all the other lists, I also use ATTinyCore as well as the standard Arduino's). I know it is possible to go to the relevant board.txt and comment out the unwanted entries, but would it be possible to either add that functionality into the Arduino IDE, having a list of all boards and clicking which ones to show? Or have another level to the menu so that the first level shows only "Arduino AVR Boards", "ATTinyCore", "Sparkfun" and then clicking on those shows the relevant boards to the type selected?
Maybe even a combination of both, but separating each library of boards into it's own menu listing could be the easiest?
Just a thought to unclutter the boards listing menu.
