The IDE does not save the sketch when the Internet is off

Describe the problem

When the computer is not connected to Internet the IDE refuses to save the file of project. The "Save as" is functional in meantime.

To reproduce

Become offline and try to save the project.

Expected behavior

I hope to see this fixed in next release.

Hi @woodlist. Thanks for taking the time to submit an issue.

This is a duplicate of #2079, which has already been fixed by #2080

That fix is not in the Arduino IDE 2.1.1 version you are using. So the workaround is to use the nightly build until the fix is distributed with the next production release. The nightly build download links are listed here:
