signature validation and partially signed multisig input

How do you guys feel about adding a signature validation check to Script.createMultiSigInputScript(..) for each signature? Since its already checking the number of signatures required I feel like it should make sure the signatures are valid as well. Also, the ability to sign a partially signed multisig input script.

Or should these details be left up to the developer?

I think this could be done as an optional flag.
The verification isn't strictly necessary if you are using correctly ordered inputs, but it does save you a lot of trouble and debugging in incorrect implementations.

No one likes seeing TX rejected.

The cost of verification is pretty high, but I feel like this discussion would be better suited to implementation details of the TransactionBuilder implementation.

In the low level case, I think the honus should definitely be up to the developer.
