Needs more explanations on how to access a web service when code-server started with --link option

This part shows how to do it when it is executed without the option. But it seems unclear that we can achieve the same even if code-server started with the option. First, it needs to be documented whether it is possible or not. Second, if it is impossible, another approach needs to be documented.

I'll post another issue if it turns out we can do the same by following the steps on the existing link, since my react app created by CRA shows an error when visiting url with path /absproxy/{domain} while serving via $PUBLIC_URL and $WDS_SOCKET_PATH. Thanks for incoming help.

Ahh yeah I think only the subdomain proxy will work with --link currently but it would be nice if we could add sub-domain support.

You wrote /absproxy/{domain}, is that a typo? It should be /absproxy/{port}. If that does not work we might need to update the docs with new instructions; maybe something changed in create-react-app.
