I am just wondering how you generate the vscode patch?

Is there a script ?

AFAIK you can generate your own via git diff or simply the diff command.

The patch files are generated by making your own changes in the vscode tree and running the following

so, every time vscode updates, u have to update the vscode.patch file ...
