How to install with vim-plug?

Hey, this looks real nice and I'd like to play with it...

...but I'm using vim-plug and it's unclear to me how the require option from packer.nvim translates into it.

I'll be testing on my side and suggesting a PR to integrate into the README.md but if someone already knows it might take me less time :)

You can just install it how you'd expect and then call the setup function in your config.

Hmm... well, tried and it doesn't seem to work. Here's what I got now I've got the plugin "plugged" and the setup function is called:

My best guess would be that the requires = { "nvim-lua/plenary.nvim" } is missing (since there's not require option on vim-plug). So I try adding this to my lua config script:

So, require does not like nvim-lua/plenary.nvim ; maybe the nvim is not mandatory? Testing without...

Hmm... I'm not sure what I'm missing here. Feel free to suggest something to diagnose.

Ok, feeling a bit dumb, had an idea just after posting to check whether nvim-lua/plenary.nvim is a package... which it is of course, and now I don't have an error message (removing the require).

So, I'll do a bit of testing and, if everything works, I'll be sending the MR to add instructions for vim-plug soon :)

Well, at least elixir-ls seems to be installable... but it doesn't like that my team is stuck on elixir 1.11.4 😅

You're trying to run ElixirLS.Mixfile on Elixir v1.11.4 but it has declared in its mix.exs file it supports only Elixir >= 1.12.0

So, I'll try on a project of mine that has a more recent version and see how it fares. But at least, the plugin seems to be working fine 🙂

With a more recent elixir version, I've got this after it installed (seemingly without any trouble):

Weird. I'll try to restart the editor just in case the LspRestart command is buggy or something.

After a restart, I don't get prompted to re-install the server and I've got my warnings on display, so, cool :) now all I need is a few references on neovim lsp basics (like go-to-definition, find-references, etc. ; I was used to use vim-ale but it doesn't seem to be elixir-tools aware so far).

If you've got suggestions here to learn, I'm all ears.

Ok, found the functions to navigate using lsp :) well, I guess I may say goodbye to vim-ale after a few tweaks of my commands, at least on the lsp side.

Unless elixir-tools also have auto-format?...
