Description
Welcome
- Yes, I'm using a binary release within 2 latest major releases. Only such installations are supported.
- Yes, I've searched similar issues on GitHub and didn't find any.
- Yes, I've included all information below (version, config, etc).
- Yes, I've tried with the standalone linter if available. (https://golangci-lint.run/usage/linters/)
Description of the problem
Example code using the nolint
directive that I've had in our code:
// baseTestConfig will generate a base configuration
func baseTestConfig(t *testing.T) (*AppConfig) { // nolint: unparam // this variable will be used eventually
app := newTestConfig(t)
return app
}
Error I get from running golangci-lint
(v1.48.0):
directive `// nolint: unused // this will eventually be used` should be written without leading space as `//nolint: unused // this will eventually be used` (nolintlint)
However the issue is go fmt
and goland
automatically add the space after the //
first comment to follow go standards.
I did not receive this error in and of the versions in v1.47.x
Version of golangci-lint
$ golangci-lint --version
