Description of the bug:

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'google.generativeai'

The python version installed on my windows10 machine
Python 3.12

Actual vs expected behavior:

Unexpected behavior for Python version > 3.10

The module is supported for Python 3.9 | 3.10 | 3.11
revert to the above version and try. Worked for me.

I once got this error,
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'google.generativeai'
after installing both the google-generativeai and google-ai-generativelanguage locally, everything works well.

# Before any installation, users need a google API key from https://makersuite.google.com/app/apikey
# after get the api key, set up local environment variable for using in this code (if on colab, use its userdata method)
# Install google's library to access Gemini API on local laptop (some codes need to be reivsed to work in non google Colab environment)

This is working well in the local machine and google colab. But it's getting error while deploying in the Streamlit cloud

It's not working on Cloud Dataflow. Here's my requirements.txt file:

apache-beam[gcp]
google-cloud-texttospeech
google-cloud-firestore
google-cloud-storage
google-generativeai

My Dockerfile includes this line: RUN pip install --no-cache-dir google-generativeai

The error: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'google.generativeai'
