Problems stop updating on import line remove

That's a pattern I've noticed. Restart fixes it. Using VS Code on Windows 10 Home.

It's very reproducible. The Task Manager says hie.exe is still running, still takes its bunch of RAM (currently 2 GB, often many more, which might deserve its own issue), and uses no CPU or disk, though a bit of the latter two comes back when I use the problems that were there when it stopped updating. Killing only that hie.exe task under VS Code doesn't fix it.

@Gurkenglas are you still experiencing this issue with master? not sure how to reproduce it, does it happen simply removing an import manually?
