Calendar icon is not showing up

Hi

I have an APEX application and a datepicker is there which was working fine till JQuery-ui V 1.12.1. After upgarding to 1.13.2, the datepicker HTML text is not formed correctly :

Thus instead of the datepicker icon, the span text is showing on the page, when I remove the double quotes (" ") around the span tag (please see image above) the icon is displayed.

Kindly suggest the fix.
