[options] option -funit-at-a-time and option -fno-unit-at-a-time not found in llvm15

When I switched from gcc to llvm, I found that the options -funit-at-a-time and -fno-unit-at-a-time were not supported on llvm. Check the documents before llvm and find that this option is available in llvm14 and earlier versions. Did llvm make any changes to remove this option? Are there any alternatives?

Both options were never supported, but are still accepted for compatibility with old build recipes that assume gcc. However, they are simply ignored, and a warning is printed that the options are not supported. As far as I know, there are no alternatives.

However usually for this type of question, the real question to be asked is: why do you need these options? What are you trying to accomplish?

oh, I see. I wanted to use this option because I wanted to turn off some of the top-level function rearrangement ，keep unused static variablesand， anchor address use that comes with optimization. I've found an alternative to using the anchor address, and I can use the globalmerge pass. However, there seems to be little discussion of top-level function rearrangement in llvm.
