Composer install in magento2/setup still does not work

So folowwing the fresh new guide still composer install would not run in the setup directory

To initialize a project, please create a composer.json file as described in the http://getcomposer.org/ "Getting Started" section

i am doing it throw SSH on a CentOs server

You don't need to run composer install in magento2/setup. Now you need just to run composer install in magento2/ root.

The docs are wrong on this, need amending. Says to run in both.

Ok thank you so if i skip this step it means all done. And i go to server root/magento2/setup and page is just blank. i check server log for errors and they are empty...

Any ideA?

@Crustymd Did you run composer install in root? Check this gist - https://gist.github.com/wsakaren/a1488ebfd2a75317e94e this must be enough.

Yes i did all this and setup in browser is just a blank page..

I will close the ticket, @Crustymd has nginx, installed, and no sysadmin to configure it properly.
