I just noticed that the loaded part, from some config, is wrong (AE722F80F55D5LS), which could mean that it's using wrong parameters.

Writing MRAM with parameters:

The wrong part is also used when updating the system package, which is more concerning:

Yes, you're right, this needs fixing.

Honestly, I don't know why global-cfg.db is needed. It automatically detects the part anyway, that's how it knows that the part is wrong. So maybe we can change the code so it doesn't read global-cfg.db at all, and just detects the part that is connected. That's effectively the same behaviour as always doing y to set the part as default each time (which uses the detected part number and revision).

I didn't dig deep into this, but perhaps it needs some info first to know how to detect the part, or maybe it's for the debugging options, or future options.

I've extracted two configs for AE3, AE7, I can add them to the boards dirs, or in a config directory here, or we could bypass the config and always detect the part. I'm not sure how to do that since it's called from everywhere.
