Updated the section to include the currently available quantum safe algorithms from NIST competition. Updated the paragraph on AES to tone down the message on its vulnerability following:

  • NIST Internal Report 8547 (ipd), and
  • BSI Status of quantum computer development 2.1.

Mention challenges in implementing quantum safe algorithms, and moved the hybrid approach in a different section.

Because 8547 is not final, I have not mentioned the timeline of NIST Internal Report 8547 (ipd) --2035 to replace classic public key cryptography.

Updated the section to include the currently available quantum safe algorithms from the
NIST competition and guidance from ENISA-ECCG. Taking into account:
* NIST Internal Report 8547 (ipd), and
* BSI Status of quantum computer development 2.1.
* ENISA-ECCG: Agreed cryptographic methods 2.0.

Mention challenges in implementing quantum safe algorithms, and moved
the hybrid approach in a different section (as time passes it becomes
less and less relevant).
