Description

@AntoineD

Code Sample, a copy-pastable example if possible

index = pd.MultiIndex.from_tuples(((0,1), (0, 2)))
index.set_levels(map(int, (3,)), level=0)

Problem description

Raises

TypeError: 'map' object is not subscriptable

Workaround by wrapping map with list.

Expected Output

MultiIndex(levels=[[3], [1, 2]],
labels=[[0, 0], [0, 1]])

Output of pd.show_versions()
