How update Parse-Server version running on AWS?

I have successfully deployed Parse-Server on AWS and would like come clarification on how to update it.

Is it just a case of running 'npm update' and then uploading the zip file of the server including the node_module files?

This appears to be a usage question and not an issue with Parse Server. I am closing this out as we're trying to cut down on the number of non-issues here on GitHub.
