Compiled and tested with 2 simultaneous jobs.

That test is expected to take a long time to run, so I wouldn't be too concerned that the process timed out.

@cmb69 I understand why this test exists, but might it be better to not run it by default and hide it behind an environment variable that is enabled explicitly? I.e. some counterpart to SKIP_SLOW_TESTS, maybe ENABLE_EXPENSIVE_TESTS. We can then set this in CI.
