This replaces the current (out of date) installation instructions on the README with links to platform-specific installation guides on the wiki. This way we can reduce the size of the README and be able to continuously update the instructions without having to create pull requests.
Do not merge until the guides are finished; they currently contain the README info as a placeholder.
