Inquiry about the License issue

I planned to use this open-source component, but when I checked the License information, I found that all versions before 1.0.3 were licensed under CC0-1.0, and only after 1.0.4 did I switch to MIT-0. MIT-0 is very permissive License, but the version of the component we are using is 1.0.3, so we need additional confirmation when use the CC0-1.0 .According to our policy, we need to exclude the risk of patents.
So are there any patents in the repository?

Due to the way software patents “work” there is no way to exclude the risk of patents; licences don’t change this fact. It applies to all software.
