SIGABRT running rt::comm tests

I'm running into a SIGABRT running make check. It seems to very consistently happen in the middle of rt::comm tests. Here's the end of the console output and a backtrace: http://pastebin.com/9C4wXxa0.

I'm on commit 9b5d523 compiling on OSX 10.8.4.
