I suspect that there's a bug somewhere in this code, which is leading to the `predicates_of` ICE being seen in rust-lang#89035

This code smelling, in my point of view. We could use native rust types instead rust/compiler/rustc_span/src/caching_source_map_view.rs Lines 235 to 243 in e0c38af

Finished benchmarking commit (edbbd49b6a668185b0a5eeb98938dc9f09ca9ffb): comparison url. Summary: This change led to small relevant mixed results 🤷 in compiler performance.
If you disagree with this performance assessment, please file an issue in rust-lang/rustc-perf. Benchmarking this pull request likely means that it is perf-sensitive, so we're automatically marking it as not fit for rolling up. While you can manually mark this PR as fit for rollup, we strongly recommend not doing so since this PR led to changes in compiler perf. Next Steps: If you can justify the regressions found in this try perf run, please indicate this with @bors rollup=never |
