Is the project still actively developed? Are there any good alternatives for Semtech SX1276/77/78/79 based boards?

It seems that the creator @sandeepmistry is no longer working on this project and the last commit is now almost 18 months ago. I think they should get someone that's active to maintain this repo.
I would be willing. See my pull request as well. #576

I don't know about this process, but having someone actively maintaining the repo would be great.
Otherwise your fork could be used, if you manage to get some of pull requests into your forked repo.
