truffle-compile hits node's memory limit (1.7MB) for very large projects.

Zeppelin, for example. High memory footprint issues have been solved in the latest testrpc They've also moved to a webpack build so we'll have to replicate that. Going to be a little tricky.

The solc output string is too big.

This is blocking a zep issue to fix their Coveralls.

Possible fix for them is to invoke truffle via node with the --max-old-space-size=4096 flag, using a .solcover.js and the testCommand option.
