Thanks for the offer @travisriegler, but this will have to wait until 3.5 now and we've not yet branched the code.

In 4.0.x, we've got a spring-boot-http module which contains the org.springframework.boot.http.autoconfigure in the package. It primarily works with Framework classes in org.springframework.http.converter. We've also got a spring-boot-http-codec module which contains the org.springframework.boot.http.codec.autoconfigure package and primarily works with Framework classes in org.springframework.http.codec. For consistency, it feels like spring-boot-http should become spring-boot-http-converter and org.springframework.boot.http.autoconfigure should become org.springframework.boot.http.converter.autoconfigure.
