I think there is a false link at

yourself with Spring's `Resource` abstraction, as described in xref:web/webflux-webclient/client-builder.adoc#webflux-client-builder-reactor-resources[Resources].

which link Resources to WebFlux WebClient configuration. but the context is "Spring's Resource abstraction" , xref:core/resources.adoc#resources-introduction will be more appropriate.
