@lunny why not backport? This isn't even touching any shipped code, it's a pure linter enhancement and it will help catch errors during backports. The PR might look scary at first but it's really only a convertion from yaml to JS with a few lines added to the config :) |

On the other hand, it's rather unlikely we would introduce CSS var errors in the 1.22 branch, so let's reduce the review workload. |

Add
stylelint-value-no-unknown-custom-propertieswhich lints for undefined CSS variables. No current violations.To make it work properly with editor integrations, I had to convert the config to JS to be able to pass absolute paths to the plugin, but this is a needed change anyways.
